Jamshid (Jimmy) Bhiwandiwlla, an Architect by profession, has a Master’s in Architecture as well as in Ancient Indian Culture, he has been a Recipient of the MASA Best Teacher Award for the subject of Humanities in the year 2010. His interest in culture and heritage is not confined to academics but also his professional work. He has participated in numerous Undergrad and master’s studios, guiding thesis students with an emphasis on Heritage Conservation and development in historic cities. His interest in urban studies also led him to participate in the European Union Erasmus Plus research project for ‘Building Resilient Urban Communities’ (BReUCom) Program which focused on various aspects of Historic cities and their water resources between the year 2018-2021.
His expertise on water resilience led him to contribute a chapter “Urban water Resilience” in the book “Resilience and Southern Urbanism: towards a New Paradigm”, a Routledge publication. He was also a partner to a yearlong Fellowship Research program on Urban Water Resilience for the city of Mumbai funded by the Kamla Raheja Institute of Architecture and environmental studies. He has been part of numerous workshops nationally, whereas internationally he participated in the European union funded Asia Link Programme with Ecole de La Villette, Paris as well as was Jury member to the annual workshop conducted at the Universita IUAV di Venezia and was also part of a housing workshop with the University of Naples Federico II, Italy in 2010. Equally old is his independent Architecture practice associated with Heritage Conservation, largely restoring community institutions like Fire Temples, Convalescent Homes, etc. However, his major area of study is the Conservation and Management Plan for the Heritage Pilgrim town of Udvada and Sanjan, Gujarat where he was officially appointed as the consulting Architect for the Gujarat Govt. Presently, he is Member Appointed on the Heritage Conservation Cell of the Udvada Area Development Authority. Further his area of expertise in Adaptive Reuse, whereby he has curated interactive exhibits in Heritage structures such the Zoroastrian Information Centre, Udvada again for the Gujarat Govt. as well as converting the birthplaces of Sir Jamshetji Jejeebhoy, Sir Jamshedji Tata and Dadabhai Naoroji into Memorial Museums in Navsari, Gujarat.
She is a Mumbai-based artist, graphic designer, and calligrapher with a master’s in fine art (Applied Art). Trained at one of Mumbai’s premier art institutions, she began her career in top advertising agencies before dedicating herself fully to calligraphy. For over a decade, Manisha has explored the expressive potential of letterforms, specializing in Devanagari, Roman, and Bengali scripts. Her work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions and three solo shows Australia, Jehangir Art Gallery, and Trident, Mumbai.Currently, she serves as course coordinator of the BFA (Applied Art) Department at Aditya College of Architecture, where she mentors the next generation of designers. Her practice bridges traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, with a deep passion for typography and the written form.
Jwalant completed his Masters in Architecture from the University of Mumbai in 2023, having studied at Rizvi College of Architecture.
He is registered as a practicing architect with the Council of Architecture, India and has 12 years of professional experience in the design and construction industry. He commenced his professional career with the BRIC Group, Mumbai, having been a part of the firm till 2018 and having performed a variety roles and responsibilities in the course of his professional experience, from conceptualization of design, research and planning, site management and execution to mentoring the design team.
He has experience in a broad range of aspects of design services and architectural practice, from Conservation and Restoration of Heritage buildings and their Surroundings to Real Estate, from High Rise Residential buildings to medium scale Township Development projects and from Institutional Campuses to privately owned Luxury Estates.

With over 35 years of experience in the advertising industry, Dilip Dhopeshwarkar brings rich professional insight into the world of visual communication. For the past 20 years, he has been dedicated to art education as a visiting faculty member at renowned institutions such as Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, L. S. Raheja School of Art (Bandra and Worli), and Viva College of Applied Art. His industry expertise and passion for mentoring have helped bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world design practices, inspiring the next generation of creative professionals.
Ms. Prachi Huddar is a passionate interior designer and educator. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Design from Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Her innovative thesis on a Camper Van SUV was selected for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), showcasing her creative approach to mobile living.
She gained experience working with multiple design studios where she honed her skills in residential, commercial, and experiential design. After which she established herself as an independent designer, handling projects from concept development to execution.
Her deep interest in education led her to academics, where she brings industry knowledge into the classroom. With a focus on design thinking and real-world application, she encourages students to explore creativity through a hands-on, process-driven approach.
