Having an experience of more than 15 years in interior designing, he has designed interiors of educational institutions, residences, corporates, and hospitality industries.

He has worked on project as small as 200 sq. ft (dispensary clinic) to as big as 2 acres (institutional).

He has successfully executed vast number of interior projects in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, Belgaum, Gulbarga, in India and he also has gained international experience of interior designing for structures constructed in cities like Nairobi, Mombasa in Kenya, Dar es salaam in Tanzania.

With a focus on residential and commercial interiors, she also excels in translating clients unique visions into tangible, inspiring environments. Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3d max The journey in interior design began with a diploma in Interior Design from L.S. Raheja College of Architecture. She has gained expertise working on a diverse range of projects, including residential renovations, commercial space makeovers, and boutique retail designs. With more than 20 years of experience in this field, she has qualities such as Creativity & Vision, Communication Skills, Attention to Detail, Client-Focused Approach Budget & Project Management , and much more. with the knowledge that she possess, she extended her role by teaching. beyond delivering lectures to encompass a wide array of responsibilities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and technical proficiency ,she is also cultivating Practical experience , eco-friendly materials,, and a sense of responsibility in students.

Ar. Anagha Naik

With over 15 years of experience, Ar. Anagha Naik brings a rare combination of architectural insight, Vastu expertise, and refined design sensitivity to every project. She holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture and a Master’s in Urban Design from Mumbai University, with advanced studies in Sthapatya Shastra from IIT Kharagpur and IACDSC, Florida (USA). As Co-founder and Vastu Consultant at Triangle Design Studio, she integrates traditional wisdom with contemporary design—creating spaces that are aesthetically balanced and energetically aligned. Anagha is also an educator and consultant, working with institutions across India and abroad. Her creative pursuits have led to the launch of a signature range of Vastu Yantra artifacts and murals—designed to harmonize interiors while enhancing their visual appeal.

Sarika Nair is a freelance Interior Designer and co-founder of Space Odyssey Studio, a design firm specializing in residential interiors. She is an alumna of Aditya College and has been working independently since 2021. She has completed projects in Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore. As a visiting faculty member, she teaches students of the B.Voc Interior Design program, sharing insights from her professional experience. Her approachable nature helps her connect well with students and support their learning journey.

He is an accomplished interior designer with over 6 years of professional experience in the field. He is the proprietor of ACE INTERIORS, a Mumbai-based interior design firm, where he has successfully led and executed numerous residential projects. His expertise lies in seamlessly blending creative vision with practical execution, ensuring each project aligns with the client’s aspirations. His strong leadership and project management skills contribute significantly to the firm’s success.

In addition to his entrepreneurial role, he has also worked for 3 years at ESSENZA Furnitures, a leading furniture manufacturing company, where he held the position of Designer and Project Manager. During his tenure, he was involved in designing bespoke furniture solutions and managing end-to-end project workflows.

With a blend of academic insight and industry experience, he brings a comprehensive perspective to design education and practice.

Makarand

With over two decades of experience in architecture and project management, Makarand Wakankar leads a multidisciplinary design consultancy specializing in corporate interiors, high-end residential architecture, and landscape design. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture (2002) and a Master’s degree in Project Management (2025), combining creative vision with a strategic approach to planning and execution.

Makarand’s work is defined by a deep understanding of context, client aspirations, and functionality, resulting in spaces that are both innovative and enduring. His firm is known for delivering tailor-made design solutions that balance aesthetics, efficiency, and sustainability. Beyond practice, Makarand has been a passionate visiting faculty at various architecture colleges for over a decade, contributing to academic development through lectures, juries, and mentorship. His dual engagement in both academia and professional practice brings a well-rounded perspective to every project.

Ar.Smita Chandanshive holds a B-Arch from Sir J.J.College of Architecture Mumbai, M-Arch from the University of Colorado at Denver, USA and M-Arch with Project Management from Aditya College of Architecture, Mumbai.

She has a deep-rooted passion for education. With almost 25 years of design and management experience in India and abroad and over a decade of academic teaching to varied groups, she is known for creating an empathetic and engaging learning environment.

Specializing at the intersection of Human Psychology and Design, she offers students a unique perspective that blends creative insight with psychological understanding.

Beyond teaching, she has been actively involved in the student counselling, guiding learners through academic, career and personal development journeys and continues to be committed to nurturing sensitive thinkers.

Ms. Apoorva Karnavat

A passionate interior designer with 7 years of experience in crafting unique and inviting spaces. I have been working for a year in Ahmedabad serving luxury residential bungalows and jewellery stores under Aastha Designers as Junior Designer. Later in continued my career in Nashik working with Sisodia and designs for 3 years as a Senior Interior Designer and converted many blank walls in beautiful homes. Here I had an expertise in Pent houses and Villa. I had my own Institute in Nashik where I taught students’ various software. Now, in Mumbai, I have company Named Cox Interiors, from the last two years. We work specially in turnkey projects for Residential and Commercial. Along with this I am Visiting Faculty in various colleges.

Ar. Dimple Shah

Dimple Shah holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Aditya College of Architecture (2022) and is the founder of Studio DRAN, her independent architectural and interior design practice.

She began her career with Urbz Collaborative in Mumbai, followed by a role at Studio Nishita Kamdar, managing Architectural projects across India. At Osaya Architects in Los Angeles, she led the design of high-end homes and commercial spaces. Her work spans grassroots to luxury contexts, bringing a global, people-centered perspective to design. She blends technical expertise with a deep understanding of how architecture shapes lived experiences.

Mr. Shabbir Dhorajiwala

An accomplished interior designer with over 25 years of professional experience in the field of Interior Design with his private practice in Mumbai. He has successfully led and executed numerous residential, restaurants, commercial & retail projects. As a visiting faculty, He loves to share his experience & practical knowledge with interior design students of various colleges in Mumbai.

A seasoned architect and urban planner with over three decades of experience in the field of architecture, real estate, and urban development sectors, Ar. Rita brings a deep-rooted sensitivity to India’s evolving urban fabric and housing challenges. She is currently pursuing a PhD focusing on affordable housing and Indian housing policies, further deepening her longstanding commitment to equitable urban development. Her doctoral research on affordable housing frameworks in India is a culmination of her career-long focus on inclusive cities, participatory design, and responsive housing policy a vision she continues to champion through research, teaching, and urban activism.

Formerly, Principal and Director at Aditya College of Architecture led academic innovation and institutional growth. She was former director at JK & RI Architects Pvt Ltd and Taksha spaces Pvt Ltd reflect her dynamic professional portfolio, which spans architectural practice, redevelopment consultancy, and community-based planning.

Her constant learning efforts include participation in global and national forums, such as the FAB Biennale, Women in Design Conference, international certification in Affordable Housing and Cities from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, research conferences and faculty development programs. She is a recognised thought leader, invited juror, and academic mentor—constantly striving to bridge the worlds of policy, practice, and pedagogy.

Currently, she is the Director of Rita Architect, where she focuses on more meaningful and human-centred projects in architecture, interior design, and urban research along with educating design students from theory to practice 

Ar. Anjuri Agrawal
Associate Professor
Master of Architecture (Project Management)

Ar. Anjuri Agrawal completed her bachelor’s in architecture from LBH College of Architecture, Bandra in 2001,with first class honours. She has also obtained a Master’s degree of M.Arch in Construction Management from IES college of Architecture in 2017 with first class .She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Planning. She started her career with Samoon & Associates ,Santacruz, as an intern while pursuing B.Arch. and continued as Junior Architect with same Firm. She started her practice in 2003 in Interior Designing and Exhibition designing and Fabrication in 2008. After doing various prestigious designing projects ranging from Commercial Hotels to residentials and exhibition Stalls for Brands she started in teaching aswell in 2014. With an experience of nearly 10 years in teaching she has earned the name and recognition as a diligent working colleague and teacher.

She is an ambitious designer and academician with hopes of improving urban issues through research. She is a highly organized and efficient individual whose thorough and precise approach to projects has yielded excellent results.

Ar. Varsha Swar

Master of Architecture (Project Management)

After graduating in the year 2002, from Academy of Architecture, Ar. Varsha Swar decided to take her thesis on “Fire temples in Mumbai” to the next level under the guidance of eminent Conservation Architect Ar. Pankaj Joshi and team by documenting all the fire temples in Mumbai; which in the year 2002 were awarded Heritage grade and notified by the MMRDA. The work did not end there but the same was carried forth for documenting the remotest and the smallest fire temples right up till Ahmedabad. After this valuable experience; she continued her practice in Mumbai and worked with various firms including NPAPL, Evolution Architectural Design Studio, Design Ideas, Sarayan Turnkey Solutions etc. and worked on and successfully completed a variety of high-end residential, commercial projects which ranged from Banks, government offices taken to a corporate look and feel, at project management level for educational institute for IGIDR etc. After an experience of over 15 years, which have contributed to a broader perspective and vision.
