With over 35 years of experience in the advertising industry, Dilip Dhopeshwarkar brings rich professional insight into the world of visual communication. For the past 20 years, he has been dedicated to art education as a visiting faculty member at renowned institutions such as Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, L. S. Raheja School of Art (Bandra and Worli), and Viva College of Applied Art. His industry expertise and passion for mentoring have helped bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world design practices, inspiring the next generation of creative professionals.
Swapna Sabnis

A specialist in the area, she has worked with numerous advertising agencies on well-known brands. She is diligent and has taught advertising theory and other practical subjects for more than ten years. She is an expert in the areas of copywriting, visual art, and communication. She holds an MFA from MIT ADT University, Pune, and a GD in Applied Art from L.S. Raheja School of Art, Bandra. She believes that students are inherently creative and is an advocate for cutting-edge design.
Dr. Prajakta Parvatikar

Ph.D. in Visual Art and alumnus of Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, recently retired as I/C Principal of Rachana Sansad College of Applied Art & Craft, Mumbai. With a Master’s in Illustration and Bachelor’s in Typography, she has mentored students for over 25 years in the fields of Advertising and Design. Shri Deepak Rathod

A design professional with over 14 years of experience in graphic design, visual storytelling, and digital communication. He currently works as a senior design manager at Ad factors PR, where he led the creative vision for social media and digital campaigns across a diverse range of brands. His role combines creative direction with strategic thinking to deliver designs that are both visually striking and purpose -driven. Completed MFA in visualization from Nagpur University. With a foundation in applied art and a deep passion for visual communication, he believes in the power of design to influence, inform, and inspire. Over the past seven years, He has also contributed as a mentor across various design institutes sharing industry insights, guiding young creatives, and helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world design challenges.
Ms. Sonia Jain
Visiting Faculty
She has been in the field of education for more than two decades. For her being an Applied artist is a blessing, and she is constantly striving to find a method to the madness. She explores creative thinking by teaching students how to think out of the box. Having had her own agency, she conducts advertising and printing lectures and motivates her students to push the envelope and discover their own potential. She teaches varying subjects like creative thinking, copywriting, history of art, Visualisation, editorial design, fashion illustration. Over the past two decades, she has been a visiting faculty at various colleges like JJ School of Art, Welingkar, Sophia Polytechnic, ITM, etc., and held workshops in various art colleges.
