Speaker: Ar. Ian Nazareth
ACA conducted a seminar by Ar. Ian Nazareth on “From Artefacts to avatars: Architecture in a Distributed World”, Lecturer at AUD, founder and director of TRAFFIC. He is a senior member of the Post-Carbon Research Centre (PCRC) at RMIT. This lecture examines how urban space is being reorganised through protocols, platforms, and invisible systems of value, reframing spatial agency across three conditions: the Incumbent City of legacy infrastructures, the Service City of logistical and platform-driven responsiveness, and the Meta City of synthetic, programmable environments.
