Objectives:
- To help students connect better with the Humanities they are studying (Sem 1 – Sem 6).
- To encourage appreciation of a range of styles of architecture including space planning, site context, connectivity, construction methodology and materials.
- Bhopal was selected as the site for both AD (Architectural Design) Sem 4 and AD Sem 6. Students were expected to carry out on-site analysis of the sites assigned to them. Sem 4 students carried out documentation exercises of the existing structure on their site, and Sem 6 students carried out urban studies related site documentation including community analysis.
