Objectives:

1. To visit, study and understand different typologies of Architectural Projects – sacred,
   institute, commercial, cultural, residential, hospitality etc.
2. To understand the significance of actual site visits, documentation through live
   sketching, understanding scale & proportion, observing projects by Master Architects,
   observing principles & concepts learnt in Sem 1 subjects, in actual projects.
3. Introduction to AD site, understanding how to document sites, various elements to be
   recorded & documented for in-depth site study.
4. Live case-study for Sem 2 – AD

Details:
The study tours this year was conducted to Pune, was of 4 nights/5 days, based on the academic calendar and duration of tour.
The tour involved understanding diverse architectural sites including temples, memorials, institutional, residential etc., and experiencing firsthand the scale of the buildings of diverse typologies, as per context and experiencing the same along with the local culture and requirements, including on-site freehand sketch documenta􀆟on and photo documenta on.
