A seasoned architect and urban planner with over three decades of experience in the field of architecture, real estate, and urban development sectors, Ar. Rita brings a deep-rooted sensitivity to India’s evolving urban fabric and housing challenges. She is currently pursuing a PhD focusing on affordable housing and Indian housing policies, further deepening her longstanding commitment to equitable urban development. Her doctoral research on affordable housing frameworks in India is a culmination of her career-long focus on inclusive cities, participatory design, and responsive housing policy a vision she continues to champion through research, teaching, and urban activism.
Formerly, Principal and Director at Aditya College of Architecture led academic innovation and institutional growth. She was former director at JK & RI Architects Pvt Ltd and Taksha spaces Pvt Ltd reflect her dynamic professional portfolio, which spans architectural practice, redevelopment consultancy, and community-based planning.
Her constant learning efforts include participation in global and national forums, such as the FAB Biennale, Women in Design Conference, international certification in Affordable Housing and Cities from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, research conferences and faculty development programs. She is a recognised thought leader, invited juror, and academic mentor—constantly striving to bridge the worlds of policy, practice, and pedagogy.
Currently, she is the Director of Rita Architect, where she focuses on more meaningful and human-centred projects in architecture, interior design, and urban research along with educating design students from theory to practice
Ar. Megha Sarkar

Megha Sarkar is a Principal architect at EHD Mumbai, bringing over 28 years of extensive experience in the field of construction. Her career also includes a significant academic contribution to the school of Architecture as a guest faculty. Her professional portfolio spans experience in designing Residential & Commercial buildings along with interiors. She has also designed a variety mixed use developments such as Govt. and private corporate offices, housing, healthcare facilities etc. Driven by her passion for greenery and gardening, she has successfully developed and executed landscape projects too.

Ar. Vishakha Kallianpur

Ar. Vishakha Kallianpur is a practicing Architect, Educator, and Entrepreneur based in Mumbai. She is the Principal Architect in her firm Srishti Architects which works on Sustainability based projects. She is also a Partner in Vastu-Shilp, an Architectural consultancy that provides Designing and Laisoning services for various types of Projects and Re-development Projects of all types in Mumbai, Educational Institutions, Warehouses and has recently also ventured into providing PMC services to Societies that want to go for Re-development.
She has a good experience of working with the corporate sector and thus brings to her practice the rigour and practicality that is required for her current practices.
Her versatility in practice has given us opportunity to work on varied projects pan India.
Ar. Sandhya Shuklabaidya

Ar. Sandhya Shuklabaidya is an architect and academic having over five decades of experience in the industry and being associated with illustrious institutions throughout her career.
Having graduated with a degree in architecture from the Sir J J College of Architecture, Mumbai in 1974, she has worked with esteemed firms such as Gregson Bately King, Patell Batliwala Manohar and Associates and Ratan J Batliboi Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
During her professional career she has headed several prestigious, large-scale projects such as the Tata Theatre at NCPA in Mumbai, the Jamnagar Export Refinery Project at Jamnagar, and the CIDCO Exhibition Centre at Vashi.
She has also been associated with numerous institutes of architecture in Mumbai, including LS Raheja College of Architecture, IES College of Architecture and Dr. Baliram Hiray College of Architecture as Adjunct Faculty for Architecture, and as part-time faculty at Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture, where she was also a core member of an Educational Exchange Programme conducted in collaboration with the Bergen School of Architecture, Norway in 2012. Her core subjects being Allied Design, Building Construction and Technology, as well as Architectural Representation and Detailing.
She also practices independently as and architect, primarily on residential and commercial projects including bungalows and corporate offices.
Ar. Veena Takale

Veena Takale is the founder of CoForm, a design and research based practice involved with architecture, urban design, interior and landscapes. She holds a postgraduate degree, MA in Housing and Urbanism from the Architectural Association School in London. She has over fifteen years of work experience and has been a part of many mega projects in the city. She was consultant to the MCGM for the Greater Mumbai development plan 2014-2034. She is interested in housing, informality and environment.
