Design Dissertation Research Methodology Workshop | Semester IX | 2019-20 |

Aditya college of architecture invited Ar. Mandar Dhuri to conduct a two day workshop for 5th Year B.Arch students to commence their Design Dissertation. The students picked issues of their interest that they wanted to explore in their thesis. Ar. Mandar Dhuri, through a rigorous 2-day interactive workshop, guided the students through the phase 1 of thesis - design research. Starting at the very denotation of an architectural thesis, to exploring in depth, various aspects of thesis like identifying issues, conducting research, parameters for justifying research, various approaches to topics, to representation - the workshop provided the students with direction and clarity needed to begin the journey. The workshop was very beneficial in not only guiding the students, but also providing the motivation and courage needed to explore unique topics of their interest.
